Frequency of H. pylori in liver cirrhosis patients with overt Hepatic encephalopathy at tertiary care hospital, Karachi.

Abstract: Background: Ammonia is detoxified in the liver, and hepatic insufficiency due to cirrhosis leads to raised ammonia, causing symptoms of Hepatic Encephalopathy (HE).
