Free vibration analysis of twin piezoelectric inclusions embedded in elastic medium

Ulku Babuscu Yesil,
Gokce Yazici

Abstract: The present study is the first attempt to investigate the free vibration behavior of the rectangular plate including two equal (twin) internal parallel piezoelectric inclusions (lying width-wise in the plate) utilizing the 3D exact equations of electroelasticity theory. For the solution, the finite element method is applied. By Hamilton’s principle, the equation of motion and boundary conditions are obtained to derive the finite element equations using the electrical energy of the piezoelectric material and th… Show more

“…Furthermore, Selim et al [222] utilized the interpolating moving least square (IMLS)-Ritz MF based on Reddy's HSDT to study the FV of CNTRC plates with PE. Recently, Yesil et al [223] performed an FV examination of twin PE inclusions implanted in an elastic medium using the (EET. Likewise, a PE bridge-type energy harvester in micro has been considered by Alshenawy et al [224] to examine its NL dynamic performance through strain gradient MS collocation methodology.…”
