Framework for enhancing the statistical design of aquatic environmental studies

Abstract: Aquatic environmental studies can be categorized by the breadth of their scope and the types of desired results. The use of this categorization coupled with a clear specification of objectives and a judicious knowledge of the environmental variability should lead to more statistically efficient studies.
