Abstract:Frameshift, one of the three classes of recoding, leads to waste of energy, resources and activity of biosynthetic machinery. In addition, some peptides, probably cycotoxic synthesized after frameshifts, results in diseases and disorders like muscular dystrophies, lysosomal storage disorders, and cancer.
