Abstract

Fragebogen zur Messung von digitalem Stress im Arbeitskontext Digitaler Stress ist eine Stressform, die durch die Nutzung und Allgegenwärtigkeit digitaler Technologien verursacht wird. Obwohl diese Stressform seit den 1980er-Jahren in der Fachliteratur beschrieben wird, als synonyme Begriffe gelten Technostress und Computerstress, hat die Thematik im letzten Jahrzehnt weiter enorm an Bedeutung gewonnen. Zunehmend mehr interessieren sich auch Verantwortungsträger in der Praxis für den digitalen Stress sowie seine Ursachen (z. B. ständige Erreichbarkeit am Smartphone, unzuverlässige und instabile Systeme, Informationsüberlastung) und Folgen (z. B. negative gesundheitliche Wirkungen, Unzufriedenheit, verminderte Leistungsfähigkeit und Produktivität). In diesem Beitrag wird ein neuer Fragebogen vorgestellt, der im englischen Original als Digital Stressors Scale (DSS) publiziert wurde (Frontiers in Psychology, 12:607598). Die hier beschriebene deutschsprachige Version enthält wie das englischsprachige Original 50 Items (Fragen), die entlang von zehn Kategorien strukturiert sind. Im Aggregat ergeben diese Kategorien den von einem Menschen im Arbeitskontext erlebten digitalen Stress. Der Fragebogen sowie seine zehn zugrunde liegenden Stresskategorien können sowohl von Wissenschaftlern im Zuge ihrer Forschungen als auch von Praktikern bei der Bestimmung des digitalen Stresses im Arbeitskontext eingesetzt werden.

Measuring digital stress in the workplace context
