Fracture of the Radial Neck and Proximal Ulna with Medial Displacement of the Radial Shaft

Abstract: The classification of proximal radial fractures into three major groups, according to Chambers, is based on the mechanism of injury and the displacement of the radial head. In the head-displaced fractures (group I) the radial head is primarily displaced. The two subclasses of fractures in group I are angular injuries and those associated with elbow dislocations.
