Fractional Calculus: An Approach to the Atmosphericdispersion Equation Using Conformable Derivative

Abstract: This work presents a brief historical introduction to fractional calculus, which appeared at the end of the 17 th century, followed by a recent formulation showing the state of art, using the conformable derivative. In this context, a solution to the problem of pollutant dispersion in the atmospheric boundary layer is obtained using the Laplace decomposition method (LDM), also seeking an alternative to the problem of dimensional incompatibility that arises from this type of approach.
