This custom-made stent graft has a U-shaped gap (for the "scallop" approach) in the exterior of the stent graft fabric that is designed to extend the seal zone along the aorta's inner curvature, whereas the scallop maintains normal perfusion of the supraaortic branches from the greater aortic curvature.…”
