“…Actually, noncovalent interactions such as hydrogen bonds, π–π stacking, and anion–π interactions play an important role in forming different supramolecular frameworks . Polydentate N‐donor ligands based on pyrazolyl and s‐triazine rings are good choices in the study of supramolecular coordination chemistry, because they are favorable to produce π–π stacking and anion–π interactions …”

“…[9][10][11][12][13] Polydentate N-donor ligands based on pyrazolyl and s-triazine rings are good choices in the study of supramolecular coordination chemistry, because they are favorable to produce π-π stacking and anion-π interactions. [14][15][16] In our previous study, we reported the polydentate ligand [4-(4,6-bis(1H-pyrazol-1-yl)-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl)morpholine] (L) and its preliminary reactivity behaviors with transitional metals Co II , Mn II , Cr III , and Fe III . [17] For the reason of coordination flexibility and superior properties of copper(II) complexes, [18][19][20][21] we have synthesized three copper(II) complexes 1-3 of L with different counteranions in the presented report.…”

“…A structure survey was carried out on the Cambridge Structural Database (CSD version 5.41, update of August 2020; Groom et al, 2016). Search results show that although 1,3,5triazine-2,4-diamine-derivative complexes with copper, ruthenium and rhodium have been reported (Singh et al, 2010;Chu et al, 2011;Massoud et al, 2011;Chakraborty et al, 2014), none of these complexes contains a copper(II) acetate [Cu 2 (OAc) 4 L 2 ] paddle wheel, as is found in compound (I). In all the previously reported structures, each ligand is coordinated to the metal using at least four of the nitrogen heteroatoms present.…”

“…Several triazine analogues are utilized as a building block for the construction of multisite ligand systems [7,8]. Some pyrazolyl derivatives, we learnt from our study, have attracted attention for their applicability as potential ligands, and are reported to be friendly http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.molstruc.2014.08.012 0022-2860/Ó 2014 Elsevier B.V.
