Fountain Codes in Broadcast Channel: Transmission and Joint BP Decoding Algorithm

Abstract: Abstract. In this paper, we study systematic Luby Transform (SLT) codes over broadcast channel with the white Gaussian noise. First, we adopt the incremental encoding and decoding method to transmit information. To reduce the multiple users' interference and improve the throughput performance of the system, we proposed a joint BP algorithm which combines the likelihood ratio update with the BP decoding.
