Formulation and physicochemical evaluation of lozenge tablets containing Salvia offi cinalis

Abstract: Pharyngitis or sore thtableoat is an infl ammation of the oropharynx, which is one of the most common complaints seen by emergency physicians. The aim of this study was to extract the Salvia offi cinalis leaves, and to formulate the lozenge tablets in order to investigate a profi table dosage form.
