Formulation and Performance Evaluation of Calendula Officinalis Linn Extract Loaded Ethosomal Cream

Abstract: Among the various species of the genus Calendula, C. officinalis is the only one, which is extensively used clinically throughout the world. Pharmacological studies reveal that C. officinalis exhibits antibacterial, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, anti-tumor and antioxidant properties, helps promote the healing of minor burns, scrapes and skin irritations and relieves sunburn and minor cuts.
