The goal of the research is to design and optimize Nebivolol Hydrochloride immediate-release tablet using response surface methodology. Nebivolol Hydrochloride immediate-release tablets used in the treatment of heart attacks, myocardial infarction. Response surface methodology calculations for this optimization study were performed utilizing Minitab 17. Different formulations of immediate-release were prepared by applying 2 factors 3 levels full factorial design using Minitab 17, which gave 9 formulations by using the wet granulation method. Independent variables like the amount of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (X1), and microcrystalline cellulose (X2) and dependent variables like the per cent drug release at 45 minutes (Y1), disintegration (Y2) were selected for optimization. The prepared batches of Nebivolol Hydrochloride immediate-release tablets were evaluated for the pre-compression and post-compression parameters like weight variation, thickness, hardness, and friability, disintegration, and in-vitro drug release studies. All the Physico-chemical parameters were found satisfactory for prepared tablets. The optimized formulation F7 showed disintegrated in 83 sec, percentage dissolution release 97.85 at the end of 45th minute. The results shows that formulated immediate-release tablets of Nebivolol HCl were better to meet patient compliance with respect to effectiveness.

The objective of the present study is to develop simple, accurate, sensitive and economic method for effective quantitative determination of Balofloxacin in active pharmaceutical ingredient. as well as in Pharmaceutical dosage forms by using HPLC. The newly developed method is validated in accordance with the analytical parameters for quantitative estimation of Balofloxacin in pharmaceutical dosage forms as per ICH guidelines. The method was validated for parameters like accuracy, linearity, precision, specificity, ruggedness, robustness, and system suitability. The detection was carried out using UV detector at 249 nm. The solutions were injected at a constant flow rate of 1 ml/min. the linearity range of Balofloxacin was found to be 10-60 g/ml. The values of % RSD are less than 2% indicating accuracy and precision of the method. The percentage recovery varies from 98-102% of Balofloxacin. LOD were found to be 0.210 µg/ml and LOQ found to be 0.637µg/ml for Balofloxacin. The results obtained on the validation parameters met ICH guidelines; it inferred the method found to be simple, accurate, precise and linear. The method was found to be having suitable application in routine laboratory analysis with high degree of accuracy and precision.

An anti-diabetic drug called Empagliflozin is used to control blood glucose levels in type 2 diabetics. Due to the high rate of hepatic first pass metabolism, it exhibits limited bioavailability. The current study was done to create Mucoadhesive buccal films of Empagliflozin with the aim of increasing bioavailability, patient compliance, and therapeutic efficacy. The solvent casting process used for the preparation of Empagliflozin Mucoadhesive buccal films by using the Mucoadhesive polymers like HPMC K100 and HEC. The prepared films' evaluated for weight variation, thickness, surface pH, uniformity of the drug content, in-vitro residence time, folding durability, in-vitro release, and permeation investigations were all assessed. Formulations (F1-F4) were created by altering the concentrations of various polymers, with F2 and F4 formulations having the highest polymer ratios and the longest-lasting drug release rates. According to characterization results such as in-vitro dissolution experiments, the sustained release formulation F2, F4 shows the best drug release rate, the order of drug release is F1>F3>F2>F4. It was determined that the films could be chosen for the development of buccal films for effective therapeutic applications because they exhibited effective enlargement, a practicable residence duration, and promising controlled drug release.
