The digitalization of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) is important, considering the many associated benefits. Indonesia, through the government’s direction, has begun to develop digitalization through the introduction of e-payment and e-commerce services into MSME supply chains, but many challenges are still encountered. In this research, we measured the influence of the use of e-payment and e-commerce services on MSME supply chain performance, as well as suggesting open innovations and solutions to accelerate the digitization of MSMEs. We collected data from 164 MSMEs in Indonesia, then conducted multiple linear regression analysis, descriptive analysis of research indicators, and interviews and discussions with research experts. The results demonstrate that there exists a positive and significant influence of both e-payment and e-commerce service variables on the performance of MSME supply chains in Indonesia. We determine ten research indicators with low values, which thus pose an obstacle to the digitization of MSMEs, and their implications, in order of open innovation and solutions, are presented in order to assist MSME actors, the government, and related institutions in accelerating the digitalization of MSMEs in Indonesia.

Lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) have a wide range of applications in different fields, starting with electronics and energy storage systems. The potential of LIBs in the transportation sector is high, especially for electric vehicles (EVs). This study aims to investigate the efficiency and effectiveness of, and justification for, the application of LIBs in the field of transport, primarily in EVs. The research focuses on single and multi-criteria evaluations of the efficiency of LIBs. Previous studies in which LIBs were evaluated using cost–benefit analysis (CBA) and multi-criteria decision-making methods (MCDM) were analysed. An electronic literature search of the Web of Science, Scopus, and other relevant databases was performed. The literature was searched using the keywords: “lithium-ion batteries”; “multi-criteria decision-making”; “cost-benefit analysis”; “energy storage”; “vehicles”; “PROMETHEE” (or other MCDM method)”. A total of 40 scientific articles concerning the application of CBA (of which are 20%) and MCDM methods between 1997 and 2023, worldwide, were analysed. The results show multiple applications of both CBA and MCDM methods. The main findings of the areas of application were summarised and future research was discussed.

The adoption rate of electric motorcycles in Indonesia, including large cities like Jakarta, remains relatively low. This study aims to evaluate both barriers and drivers of electric motorcycle (EM) adoption from the perspectives of users and non-users. The research utilized Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) to identify areas for improvement, and determine the most important factors to prioritize strategy development. This research has found that the 'driver attributes' for EM adoption have a positive perceived performance according to the IPA mapping. However, the attributes that act as barriers to EM adoption have low performance and need to be prioritized for improvement. A comparison study was conducted between EM users and non-users, revealing several differences in importance and performance assessments. Furthermore, a technical preference analysis was conducted among the community to provide deeper insights from the public's perspective regarding EM. The research implies that a comprehensive strategy is needed to foster the adoption of electric vehicles in urban areas like Jakarta. This strategy aims to overcome high prices, range anxiety, and lack of infrastructure to increase adoption rates and support a sustainable urban transport system.
