Abstract:Objectives: Describe the MRI semiology that should suggest the diagnosis of MSA in case of atypical Parkinsonian syndrome.
Materials and methods: on MRI we explored four patients, belonging to a large consanguineous family of which 21 members presented an atypical parkinsonian syndrome meeting the consensual diagnostic criteria of AMS. The examinations were carried out with an MRI of 1.5 tesla in sequences weighted in T1, T2, FLAIR, diffusion, 3D TOF and 3D T1 after injection of gadolinium
