“…It can be easily inferred that both the δ and T C increased, with increasing x to 0.2 and 0.3, then reduced for further increasing of substitution similar behavior of oxygen content with the transition temperature for for Bi 1.6 Pb 0.4 Sr 2 Ca 3 Cu 4 O 10+δ system was indicated by Zhao et al [26]. This apparently it is due to Bi replacement by Li ion, so the presence of excess oxygen atoms in the CuO 2 layers will create more holes in the perovskite layers, the creation of holes will shorten the Cu-O 2 bond length and this leads to an improvement of the T C [8] [27].…”
