Force analysis for automation of the loading operation in an LHD-loader

Abstract: hXCdbgSdthc1992IEEE k r r m r t i a u l~~a a R o b o r i c r m d A~t i a~ Nico.F"-M.y1992T Montreal, Quebec H3A 2A7 Canada . The results of this work serve as a step towards automation o f the operation of an LHLI-loader. In this study the force requirement in the (hydraulic) actuators and the vehicle push are found in terms of the external force/torque at the cutting edge that the machine must overcome, and the instantaneous wnfipration of the loader bucket. me study D based on ana@& of the motion as in a rob… Show more

“…The working mechanism-material force system can be established as in Figure 6, according to the change of the bulk materials' shape. The force received by the bucket is divided into five components [16], each of which varies with the different shoveling phase.…”

“…One of major method is similar to the computed torque method, which is used for control of serial link manipulators in assembling lines. In this method, the reference value for the control system is the estimation value of resistance force at the bucket based on soil-bucket interaction models [1] [2].…”
