For the first time the article demonstrates the ways of national drama development in the context of the socio-political process of the 1920-1930s; the completion of collectivization, the establishment of the Soviet power institutions, adoption of the new Constitution of the country (1935), which testified to the successful completion of socialism construction in our country, contributed to softening the criteria to a certain extent, opened a possibility for the actual artistic evolution of the Kumyk and entire Dagestan dramaturgy. This is confirmed by specific aspects of stage works considered in the complex plane, in particular, strengthening of folklore influences, ethno-mental characteristics, activation of the comedy genre, forms of conflict resolution, etc.
