Foliage Feeders

Abstract: One of the most significant categories of insect that cause damage to trees are the defoliators. While many orders of insects feed on tree foliage, in this chapter we will focus on Lepidoptera, as there are so many Lepidopteran larvae (caterpillars) that are known for their extensive tree damage.
