FokI polymorphism in the vitamin D receptor gene in patients with hip osteoarthritis: A case-control study

Abstract: Objectives: This study aimed to examine whether there is an association between hip osteoarthritis and vitamin D receptor gene FokI polymorphisms. Patients and methods: In this case-control study, a total of 162 volunteers (43 males, 119 females; mean age: 62.4±9.3; range, 50 to 80 years) were included between March 2011 and March 2012.
