Focusing by a Cylindrical Plano Convex Lens of Chiral Medium

Abstract: In this paper, the focussing of electromagnetic fields from a cylindrical plano convex lens composed of chiral media is analyzed using Maslov's method. The chiral medium is described electromagnetically by the constitutive relations D = E + jγB and H = jγE + 1 μ B.
