Abstract: Gene delivery via adeno-associated viral vectors can provide lasting clinical benefits following a one-time treatment. Delivery throughout the brain is needed for the treatment of neurological disorders with widespread pathology, including Alzheimer and Parkinson diseases, and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
