Focal pancreatic lesions: accuracy and complications of US-guided fine-needle aspiration cytology

Abstract: Tissue confirmation of the diagnosis is required either for unresectable pancreatic masses or for resectable masses when the diagnosis is uncertain. In this article, we review indications, technique, and clinical results of percutaneous fine-needle aspiration of focal pancreatic lesions.
