“…In order to improve the stability of fly ash mortar, Shi et al [51] mixed the guar gum (GG) derivative hydroxypropyl guar gum (HPG) and xanthan gum (XG) at a mass ratio of 1:1 to obtain the mixture (BMS). Subsequently 300 g of fly ash (FA) particles were dispersed into 1 L of BMS solution with different concentrations and stirred to obtain the mixed mortar (FAS).…”

“…Coal spontaneous combustion (CSC) can not only produce lots of toxic and harmful gases, but also cause casualties. [1][2][3][4] Therefore, CSC prevention is of great significance for the safe production of coal. 5 Many methods have been proposed to inhibit CSC in underground coal mines.…”

“…The subject of this paper, hydroxypropyl guar (HPG), which is guar reacted with propylene oxide, is more hydrophobic than guar; the propylene oxide shifts the hydrophilic–lipophilic balance (HLB), which enables more pronounced partitioning of the molecules into the oil phase in the water–oil environment . Compared with pristine guar gum, HPG is expected to display faster dissolution and greater temperature resistance, which enable applications as natural additives in detergent and coal and in the medical industry. Guar and its derivatives are used as gellants in cross-linked fracking fluids used for the enhanced recovery of crude oil. …”
