Fluorine-18 fluorodeoxyglucose PET in the preoperative staging of colorectal cancer

Abstract: Compared with conventional techniques, FDG-PET appears to be useful in pre-surgical staging of CC, revealing unsuspected disease and impacting on the treatment approach.
