Fluorination effects on bithiophene unit in benzodithiophene-4,8-dione based D–A type alternating copolymers for highly efficient polymer solar cells

Abstract: In this work, two D–A polymers PDTB and PDFTB were synthesized and studied systematically to reveal the fluorination effect on the polymer backbone.
