Fluctuations of Initial State and Event-by-Event Pseudo-Rapidity Correlations in High Energy Nuclear Collisions

Abstract: The initial state, about which there is usually very little direct experimental information, leads to significant fluctuations in the distribution of secondary particles and fragments.
