Flower Recognition

Abstract

One of the plant's organs, the flower, is a crucial component of the ecological system. Flowers have been employed for many human-beneficial purposes. Over 400 000 different types of flowers are known to exist today. Flowers are similar in shape and color, making it challenging to tell them apart from one another. Classifying flowers is a challenging task because of the diverse variety of morphologies, color distribution, light, and exposure deformation. In some photographs, it becomes more challenging for a human eye to distinguish between blooms that are identical in color and shape. Humans require extensive training to distinguish between many species correctly, and frequently, only highly particular morphological traits may distinguish between closely related species.
