Flow Behavior of Homogeneous Suspensions With Addition of a Coarse Dispersive Phase

Abstract: In the disposal industry thickstock‐suspensions dispersed in carrier liquids are frequently transported over longer distances. In order to lay out appropriate tubing conveyor plants suspensions are regarded as a continuum and rheologically described. This articles describes the influence of a coarse particle loading on the pressure loss using a model suspension.
