“…Dong et al (2008) studied the wave dissipation of board-net floating breakwater experimentally (Buttolph, 2006). Koutandos, Karambas, and Koutitas (2004) investigated the transmission coefficient, reflection coefficient and the distribution of bottom pressure of the box-type floating breakwater obtained from the experimental study with one-dimensional motion in the vertical direction, the results show that the ratio of barrier width and wave length and the draft has a considerable influence on the performance of this breakwater. Mizutanl and Rahrnan (2004) carried on the experimental study with box-type floating breakwater anchored by perforated plates, and it showed that the perforation method, perforation numbers and angle of the plates impact the wave absorption capacity of the floating breakwaters.…”
