Abstract: Nowadays, yttria (Y3+)-stabilized ZrO2 (Y-TZP) is the most commonly used material in dental prosthetics. Y-TZP dental ceramics are mainly stabilized via the addition of 3 mol% yttrium oxide (Y2O3).
