Abstract:This study investigates the flexural performance of reinforced concrete (RC) beams strengthened by FRP-reinforced geopolymer matrix (FRGM) through a comprehensive numerical analysis. A two-dimensional (2D) finite element (FE) model is developed to simulate the behavior of the FRGM-strengthened RC beams, including the failure modes, load-deflection curves, and interfacial slips. The settings of the FE model, such as material properties, boundary conditions and interfacial bond properties between the FRGM and RC… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
