Abstract:Flexible, nanoparticle-free, industrially adaptable waterborne polyurethane (WPU) foams with light-to-thermal energy conversion and latent heat storage capacity are presented. WPU particles were coated in dispersion with polydopamine (PDA), a photothermal polymer, to create an inherently photothermal polymer matrix.
