Flexible and Anisotropic Properties of Monolayer MX2 (M = Tc and Re; X = S, Se)

Abstract: Flexible and anisotropic response of layered transition metal dichalcogenides MX 2 (M = Tc and Re; X = S, Se) is important for wearable and polarized optoelectronics. Herein, the elastic, electronic, and optical dielectric properties of these two-dimensional (2D) materials have been investigated by density functional theory (DFT) with different van der Waals correction and Heyd−Scuseria−Ernzerhof hybrid functional. The Young's modulus of these materials is low, which indicates that they are favorable for the f… Show more

“…high surface energy, and strong π-π interaction force. [14] As shown in Figure S1 in the Supporting Information, the CSs obtained by vacuum filtration display seriously stacked structure with few available pores, losing the advantages of 2D nanosheets such as high surface area and large pore volume. To overcome this problem, a modified structure was designed and developed.…”

“…[1] Among them isoxazole one of the five-member heterocyclic compounds in which nitrogen and oxygen both heteroatoms are present at the adjacent position. Isoxazole derivatives have been found to be associated with diverse biological activities [2] such as selective agonists in human cloned dopamine D4 receptors, [3] exhibit GABA receptor antagonist, [4] analgesic, [5] antiinflammatory, [6] antimicrobial, [7] antifungal, [8] COX-2 inhibitory, [9] antitumor, [10] anti-HIV, [11] anti-cancer activity, [12] antitryanosomal activity [13] and anti-leishmanial activities. [14] The marketed drugs of isoxazole such as Leflunomide, Valedecoxib, Acetylsulfisoxazole, Drazoxol, Zonisamide, Gabodaxol, Cycloserine, Ibotenic acid, Sulfamethoxazole and Isocarboxazid have great medicinal values.…”

“…Heterocyclic compounds are an important class of molecules that have been developed for pharmaceutical applications, [1][2][3] which have a large domain of applications, including antibacterial, [4][5][6] antiviral, [7,8] Anti-fungal, [9,10] Anti-inflammatory, [11,12] and anticancer [13][14][15] applications. The development of 1,3-dipolar cycloadditions revolutionised the synthesis of five-membered heteroaromatic rings, contributing to easier and more versatile access to new compounds.…”
