Flat‐plate triangular monopole antenna for Wi‐Fi/WiMAX/DVB‐H applications

Abstract: UWB applications are proposed. The filters are based on stub-loaded ring and triangular resonators. To achieve sharp skirt characteristics and improved out-of-band performance, capacitive-ended interdigital coupled lines are employed. For stub-loaded triangular patch UWB filter, a slot is introduced in the ground plane to increase the FBW of the filter. It is seen that both the proposed filters display passband characteristics in the UWB band with insertion losses better than 2 dB and flat group delays. REFERE… Show more

“…Among the many kinds of antenna structure, chip antennas are attractive for their small size and low profile and are very promising in mobile communication devices. To reduce the occupied dimension, meander line [1,2] and bended structure [3,4] technique were applied. For multi-band operation via a compact dimension, the parasitic capacitance/inductance [3,5] was introduced to lower resonant frequency, improve the impedance matching, or cause additional resonant modes.…”
