Fixed points of $\rho$-nonexpansive mappings using MP iterative process

Abstract: This research article introduces a new iterative process called MP iteration and proves some convergence and approximation results for the xed points of ρ-nonexpansive mappings in modular function spaces. To demonstrate that MP iterative process converges faster than some well-known existing iterative processes for ρ-nonexpansive mappings, we construct some numerical examples. In the end, the concept of summably almost T-stability for MP iterative process is discussed.

“…Many researchers introduced different iterative schemes to find out the solutions of VIPs (6)(7)(8)(9)(10)(11) . Lamba and Panwar (12) and Panwar et al (13) introduced iterative schemes for nonexpansive mappings. Sahu et al (14) and Tuyen (15) determined the solutions of VIPs by finding the common fixed point of a sequence of nearly nonexpansive mappings.…”
