Abstract. Within the framework of spaces admitting special L * -operators (such as continuous or L * n -operators) we prove fixed point theorems (of Brouwer or Schauder type) and discuss some related issues (e.g. the existence of symmetric equilibria).Mathematics Subject Classification.
