Abstract:Upon examining the effect of the presence of fission fragments (FF) on the formation by radiolysis of ethylamine and n-butane in ethane-ammonia system, no difference was discerned in the G-value, observed in the range of 1-14 kgjcm 2 , between radiation containing FF and others devoid of FF-mixed radiations from reactor and 6°C o r·rays. This result would indicate that the predominant reaction in the core of FF track is proton transfer from positive ions to ammonia, as in the case of r-radiolysis. Rising total… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
