First results from the multicentre study Rehabilitation of Occupational Skin Diseases – Optimization and Quality Assurance of Inpatient Management (ROQ)

Abstract: The primary objectives of TIP (return to work, improvement of OSD, enhancement of quality of life, and reduction in the use of topical steroids) were successfully met. The long-term follow-up (1 and 3 years after TIP) will examine whether these favourable outcomes can be sustained.

In Germany the social security system covers treatment of severe occupational skin disease (OSD) by means of interdisciplinary in-patient rehabilitation measures with the goal of avoiding loss or change of job (16,17).
