“…Taxonomic investigation of the well-known Guanshan Biota (Cambrian, Stage 4) from eastern Yunnan of South China starting in 1997 (Luo et al, 1999, 2008), and to date abundant and diverse macroscopic brachiopods (~5 mm in shell length) have been documented from deposits of the Guanshan Biota, including three linguloids ( Eoobolus , Palaeobolus , Neobolus ) (Zhang et al, 2020a, b), one acrotheloid ( Schizopholis ), siphonotretoid ( Acanthotretella ), kutorginid ( Kutorgina ), as well as a nisusioid ( Nisusia ) (Luo et al, 1999, 2008; Hu et al, 2010, 2013; Chen et al, 2019). However, microscopic acrotretoid brachiopods (usually <2 mm in width) have not previously been documented and described from the Wulongqing Formation (Guanshan Lagerstätte, Cambrian Stage 4) (Hu et al, 2013).…”
