Abstract: Mongolian snake gourd (Trichosanthes kirilowii Maxim) is a precious traditional Chinese herbal medicine and perennial liana plant in the family Cucurbitaceae, and the root, fruit, seed and peel all possess the medicinal value (Zhang et al. 2016).
