First report of root rot disease on Solanum lycopersicum L. caused by Fusarium vanettenii in India

Abstract: Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.) is one of the most important and widely grown vegetable crops throughout India. Typical symptoms of root rot were observed in an experimental field of ICAR‐Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi (India), during July‐August 2019 with an incidence of 25%.
