First record of the leafhopper Platymetopius notatus Fieber (Hemiptera, Cicadellidae, Deltocephalinae) from northwest Algeria with description of the species

Abstract: A continuous monitoring of leafhoppers in a pear orchard (Pyrus communis L.) of Santa Maria variety, located in Khemis Miliana in northwest Algeria for a period of 7 months from February to August 2019, revealed a species, Platymetopius notatus Fieber, earlier having been reported from Europe (Spain, Portugal).
