“…It is subtriangular in cross section, with a more concave lingual surface (as in Pleurolestodon acutidens and in some of the Simomylodon specimens described by Boscaini et al, 2019) than in other Mylodontinae (Kraglievich, 1921). The caniniform is not separated from mf1 by a diastema, as in Pleurolestodon acutidens (Kraglievich, 1921; Oliva and Brandoni, 2012) and Simomylodon uccasamamensis (see Boscaini et al, 2019). The mf1 is elliptical in cross section, with a lingual inclination on its posterior half.…”
