First record of Ornithonyssus bacoti from a domestic pet in the United Kingdom

Abstract: THE tropical rat mite, Ornithonyssus bacoti, is a blood-feeding ectoparasite. It is found on a variety of domesticated and wild mammal and bird species worldwide.
