“…The CECT 7612 T type strain, isolated from diseased European sea bass in Spain (Piñeiro-Vidal et al, 2012), was obtained from the Spanish Type Culture Collection (CECT) and included for comparative purposes. All strains were confirmed as T. dicentrarchi through standard phenotyping and 16S rDNA-based PCR (Avendaño-Herrera, Irgang, & Tapia-Cammas, 2018;Irgang et al, 2017).
