Abstract: Arthrodesis is a reliable surgical procedure for treating thumb carpometacarpal osteoarthritis. However, the most frequent and problematic complication of arthrodesis is nonunion. Although postarthrodesis-related nonunion is a common complication, the indications and results of revision procedures for this pathological condition have not been well documented.
