Finite-time stabilization of a class of switched stochastic nonlinear systems under arbitrary switching

Abstract: Summary This paper investigates the finite‐time stabilization of a class of switched stochastic nonlinear systems under arbitrary switching, where each subsystem has a chained integrator with the power r (0 < r < 1). By using the technique of adding a power integrator, a continuous state‐feedback controller is constructed, and it is proved that the solution of the closed‐loop system is finite‐time stable in probability. Two simulation examples are provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed method. Copy… Show more

“…Therefore, it is of great significance to study the finite‐time control of stochastic nonlinear systems. Ever since stochastic finite‐time stability criterion was proposed first in Reference , a number of elegant developments have been achieved for various aspects based on it; see References and references therein. For example, a finite‐time stabilizer was given in References for a class of stochastic nonlinear systems by output feedback.…”

Then, an adaptive finite‐time design scheme was reported in References for a class of switched stochastic nonlinear systems. Subsequently, the problem of finite‐time control for a class of stochastic nonlinear systems with stochastic integral input‐to‐state stability inverse dynamics and unknown covariance noise was solved in References and .…”

“…Stability is an extremely significant aspect of studying the performance of the control systems; in practical applications of many industrial systems, systems' states need to converge to equilibrium point in finite time [2]. So, finite-time stabilization for a class of switched nonlinear systems have been extensively studied in recent years [3,4].…”

“…Then, by combining finite‐time stability with the homogeneous domination approach to weaken nonlinear assumptions, the stabilization control problems were considered for different classes of stochastic nonlinear systems in . By further generalizing the technique of adding a power integrator, a state‐feedback controller was constructed in for a class of switched stochastic nonlinear systems; a condition on uniform finite‐time stability in probability was obtained. Recently, Zhao et al .…”
