Finite-timeHcontrol for stochastic time-delayed Markovian switching systems with partly known transition rates and nonlinearity

Abstract: This paper focuses on the problem of finite-time H ∞ control for stochastic time-delayed Markovian switching systems with partly known transition rates and nonlinearity. By employing an appropriate Lyapunov function and some appropriate freeweighting matrices, a state feedback controller is designed to ensure H ∞ finite-time boundedness of the resulting closed-loop system that contains time-varying delay, admissible external disturbance, Itô-type stochastic disturbance and nonlinearity. All the proposed condit… Show more

“…It is one of the key techniques used in various systems, and documents in the recent 20 years mainly refer to H-infinity control, tracking control, robust control, sliding mode control and output-feedback control. For example, finite-time H-infinity control has been studied for stochastic time-delayed Markovian switching systems (Qi & Gao, 2016), a class of discrete-time Markovian jump systems with partly unknown timevarying transition probabilities (Cheng et al, 2015), and periodic piecewise linear systems (Xie et al, 2017). As for tracking control, proposed a novel optimal tracking control scheme for a class of discrete-time nonlinear systems using generalised policy iteration adaptive dynamic programming algorithm, and obtained better performance than other methods.…”

“…Consequently, the research on switched systems has aroused widespread interest in the control field. Much more attention has been paid to the switched rules of switched systems, such as minimum dwell time methods [13], average dwell time methods [14,15], continuous-time methods [16], arbitrary switched [17], and stochastic switched [18]. With deeper researches on the switched systems, based on these basic research methods, the work [19] introduced a novel barrier Lyapunov function for the issue of controlling the output-constrained system.…”

“…Therefore, further research on a Markov jump system with a partially unknown transition rate is really vital and necessary. Readers may refer to [ 36 , 37 , 38 ].…”
