Finite Element Modeling and Simulation Analysis of Non-Pyrotechnics Separation Device

Abstract: The research object of this paper is non-pyrotechnics separation device based on SMA. The non-pyrotechnics separation device with different buffer materials is simulated and analyzed by setting accurate simulation parameters. The results show that when the cushion material is TC4, the maximum acceleration of the housing is 269.3g and the separation of the device is completed at 11ms. When the cushion material is rubber, the maximum acceleration of the housing is 122 g, and the device is separated at 12.56 ms.
